Copy the System Folder

The PMP-120 has most of its software and data stored in the firmware. However, there are some files which are stored on the hard disk. These need to be accessible and of the right version when the PMP starts, or you will get a boot failure (see Shamrockman's site for more info).

To sort this out, use Windows Explorer and copy the iRiverSys folder from your PMP-1xx to your hard disk before doing the upgrade.
