Summary

Yes, it was very summery!

Aaagh crap joke!

Well, I made my fringe debut. I have a programme to prove it - albeit the one from the lift and with my name misspelt.

I also saw a comedy number of shows - 69. What a funny number. How funny. How utterly hilarious. Okay, it's not funny. However, it was not by design, just chance. Given that I was at the place for 22 days, rather than last year's 8, I only managed to increase my number of shows seen by 29. What does this mean? It means that nobody can see shows at the rate I saw them last year for longer than a few days without losing their sanity.

Indeed, as I write this, I feel moderately sane. I have ideas burning in my head for comedy routines and for a show or two to present to an audience next year, but overall, I think I managed to ride the wave of the fringe madness, rather than drown in it, or disappear up my own backside. Perhaps I'm wrong, but if I'm questioning my sanity, then perhaps that's proof that I'm sane.

I don't think I'd change much if I got the chance, which is probably a good sign. I over-ate, over-drank and walked a lot - hopefully these will have worked to balance each other out.

I'm glad I'm on the mailing list for next year's programme already!
