I confess, I was bewitched home

I never claimed to be perfect. When I received the following comment from a reader, my imperfection was confirmed:

The page at the link below committed the egregious error of omitting the apostrophe from Hallowe'en. Straight to 'hell, boys.

The page in question was about Asda's pumpkins around the eve of All Saints' Day.

Clearly the witching had befuddled my brain and I had chosen the American spelling of the English word(s) "Hallowe'en". I cannot be excused this error, despite my defence that I had, at least, produced a recognised word. I apologise.

Perhaps more readers will take the opportunity to answer my call to arms, preferably at someone else's expense.
