Drop one, get one spare
My theory that for every apostrophe that someone omits there's one which gets inappropriately put somewhere is demonstrated very well on this sign from the Irish sandwich shop - O'Briens (sic).
Two mistakes for the price of one (click to enlarge)
The problem is that there should be an apostrophe in O'Briens, since surely it's the business belonging to the Irish O'Brien family? The other problem is that they've added an apostrophe to the word coffees. The whole thing is just an Irish joke!
