We probably entered pun-hell a moment ago!
You have to feel sorry for the shop The Baker's Oven on Grey Street in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. Not only do they sell food that I find distasteful, but someone pushed them over the precipice into apostrophell!
As you can see from the picture, the shop correctly identified that their oven was owned by The Baker (I find this hard to prove one way or another in real life). Unfortunately, the signwriter for the temporary sign, which was attached to the scaffolding in front of their shop during this summer's renovations, did not think to include our favourite punctuation mark.
