Bloody Hell

Today is a busy day. At work I'm in the process of getting together with the team I'll be working with for the next few months. My desk has been moved. Well, my actual desk is now a different desk, the original desk is where it was. I have a better view, of exactly what was behind me, since I'm now located in the exact opposite corner of the bank of desks I've been in since virtually when I started. Anyone who has ever worked in that office will now know what my view is of. Anyone else will probably not give a damn.

The view would be great, but there's a large light at approximately 11 o'clock in my field of vision - if you imagine that I'm looking at a 10 foot diameter clock, instead of the office. This light is flaring off my screen and glasses, which is, if you ask me, a bloody nuisance. Apparently, there's a "diktat" which means it must not be turned off "for the health and the safety". I wonder whether it will stop being light if I accidentally smash it?

This lunchtime, I went out and bought a little paint. In fact. I bought:
  • 4 rolls of lining paper
  • 4 roller and tray sets
  • Some roller refills
  • Masking tape
  • Two light fittings
  • Some wiring accessories
  • Some paint brushes
  • 2 electric sanders
  • Some wallpaper paste
  • A wallpapering table
  • 90 litres of assorted paints
So, nothing much. Only 90 litres of paint. 90! I think I may have overdone it a bit.
